Greetings Earth People!

My name is Leigh Chan, your resident producer, writer, designer and actor who seeks to make his mark in the entertainment industry. My whole life revolves around two particular things: storytelling and technology. From poetry to novels to cinema, storytelling has essentially helped build how I see the world and I’ve built on by taking writing,  literature, theater and film classes in college and grad school. From hereon, I wish to put all that I’ve learned into the medium that I’ve dedicated my life and career to: Video Games.

My life as a gamer began as early as six years old; I owned the all-famous Nintendo Entertainment System console as well as the first Game Boy. Like any millennial, my whole life was centered on each progressing console including the Nintendos, the Playstations and the XBoxes.

My career started at the start of 2014 when I began working at two independent video game companies. When my tenure with both ended, I decided to capitalize on my experiences by pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Utah’s Entertainment Arts and Entertainment program for the specialty as a Game Producer.

Through the endless possibilities of storytelling and continual development of technology, I wish to dedicate my education and career to produce exciting forms of entertainment that are both intelligent and accessible.

All in all, I am someone who will conceive and design creative and innovative ideas for a fun game, craft meaningful and thought-provoking stories, communicate the idea and intent behind each project, and bring life to the characters and narration through my voice.
